We are not a large firm. We don't operate with junior analysts and senior partners who show up for the pitch. Every engagement is led by a senior practitioner from day one to close.

Founder & Principal
Manny Koulas founded MK Consulting after more than a decade working inside and alongside businesses at critical inflection points — turnarounds, acquisitions, rapid growth, and strategic repositioning.
His background spans operational leadership, corporate finance, and strategy — which means he approaches problems from the inside out, not from a framework applied from the outside. He has worked with manufacturers, distributors, professional services firms, and technology companies across Ontario and Canada.
He started MK Consulting because he believed there was a gap in the market: small and mid-size businesses with genuinely complex problems, but without access to the calibre of strategic thinking that larger companies take for granted. That gap is still what drives the work.

Diagnosis before prescription.
We don't arrive with a pre-built solution. We spend the first weeks understanding the actual problem — not the one that was described in the brief.
Outcomes, not deliverables.
A strategy deck is not a result. We measure success by what changes in the business — revenue, margin, structure, capability — not by what we hand over.
Honest over comfortable.
We tell clients what we see, including the things that are hard to hear. Comfortable advice that avoids the real issue is not advice — it's a liability.
Capability transfer.
Every engagement ends with the client able to sustain the result without us. We build internal capability, not dependency.
